I opened the studio on Monday, March 18, 1996 after teaching some
private lessons for a few years and working on my Music Education
degree at the University Of Nebraska at Omaha. It has been a great
privilege to have met and taught so many students through the years.
Having taken classical piano lessons since the age of 4 through college and
learning from some extraordinary teachers such as Paul Parker, Clark
Mullen, and Jackson Berkey, I am able to bring that knowledge and
experience to each lesson I teach.
In addition to the Music Studio I am also organist at Chris The King
Parish here in Omaha. I have played the organ in church since the age of
13. In the same way as piano I have been blessed with the opportunity of
taking classical organ lessons from great teachers such as Wayne
Kallstrom from Omaha.
The studio has seen many changes of landscape from when it opened in
1996. From commercial retail location to now a home-based studio
location. The home-based studio addition was built in 2007 and provides
a great relaxing and positive atmosphere for students and parents.
Centrally located in a quite neighborhood but yet close to retail stores for
parents to run errands if needed. The studio includes separate reception
and teaching rooms for parents, family and students. And if it is a nice
day you may sit outside in the backyard watching the birds and squirrels
play. There is a nice neighborhood park located 1 block away for those
energetic younger siblings.
Living in Omaha with my wife and 3 kids and incorporating the business
into the home gives great meaning and commitment to family, business,
and students!
